1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500 Description:

1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500. For sale as is. Bought three years ago and never got to it so time to let it go. Previous owner claimed he parked it in 2000 when the clutch master cylinder went bad, That's about all I was told about the car.Not currently running but engine and transmission move when pushed in gear. Car also has rare and desirable electronic overdrive transmission. Also has Weber downdraft carburetor setup and long tube header(rather expensive to buy new).It is a solid car with surface rust and a few holes. Floor pans and trunk are solid, no rot there which can be typical places for the Spitfires. Comes with a new master cylinder which I had purchased and also spare frame for convertible top(was in the car when I got it) Would say it is in restorable condition or for parts.Sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping.
