1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500

1975 Triumph Spitfire Description:

This 1975 Triumph Spitfire is beautiful and runs so very well.

It was restored by the previous owner and the engine & transmission were rebuilt in 2005. The convertible top was replaced in 2009, new cherry dashboard 2009, new brake lines 2008, new carpets 2009, gel cell battery 2009, new radiator 2010, rebuilt brakes 2009, new clutch master 2009, new chrome bumpers 2009, repainted 2009.

It has been parked in a garage and hooked to a trickle charger for the winter months. It has never failed to start and has been a joy to drive. It has 3,000 miles since being completed in 2010.

It also has a new old stock Tonnue cover from 2009 and a separate hardtop. The hardtophas the glass windows but needs to have the rubber trim replaced and a head liner. I have never used it but it is painted to match the car.

The gas gauge & temperature gauge do work but are not accurate and it does leak some oil (what Triumph doesn't!).
