1964 Mercury Comet Description:

Up for auction is a nice 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible with 55,000 original miles.

Vehicle is equipped with a 200 6 cylinder, automatic transmission, power top, am radio, manual brakes and steering, wire wheel covers.

This is basically a solid original car with minor paint touch up on the lower rear quarters. There are some scratches and paint imperfections. The majority of the paint is original and is decent for a driver. If you wanted to take it to the next level it basically would need to be sanded down and painted.

The undercarriage has surface rust but it is 100% solid and rot free.

The interior has been reupholsted and looks nice.

It has a new convertible top, new front brakes and wheel cylinders. Vehicle runs and drives extremely well. All gauges and equipment operates properly.

Vehicle was a barn find and is unmolested.

This is a very nice driver that is affordable and it can be enjoyed the way it is.
