This is a completely restored 1958 VW Bug Ragtop! Absolutely stunning car from bumper to bumper, you’ll be hard pressed to find one in better condition! No expense was spared on this car, virtually everything is brand new from the ground up, and was a product spanned over a year of restoration work.Our Bug was purchased locally in Southern California, and was disassembled and stripped down to bare metal.It spent months in the body shop to get the paint and body work meticulous.All new floorboards were installed, and this Bug was throughly done from the inside and out.It’s nothing short of showroom quality, and an absolute beauty to see in person. We complimented the L41 Black paint with a Burgandy/Dark Red accent with the Ragtop upholstery, and you’ll see it even carries onto the Smoothie Wheels to really tie it in.Speaking of the Ragtop, the assembly itself was also rebuilt and re-finished, and operates perfectly. Mechanically, we’re running a completely rebuilt 1500cc that’s mated to a rebuilt freeway flyer transmission.The car runs incredibly smooth and is a very reliable driver! Suspension is also all brand new underneath. Electrical and wiring harnesses are additionally new and run throughout the entire car. Moving inside, you’ll see a stunning two tone red/ivory upholstery that really brings a color pop to the this car.New black carpet runs throughout, 3 spoke Ivory Steering Wheel, Ivory Headliner, handles and knobs…the list continues.There’s a brand new Retrosound headunit w/ Bluetooth, which powers a brand new sound system with (2) 6x9 speakers and a 10” subwoofer.All exterior moldings, bumpers, headlight housings, turn signal assembly, etc are brand new. This Bug is the real deal, completely turn key and ready to enjoy.It’s a worthwhile investment as we continue to see Ragtop VW’s increase in value, and what better to have one that is completely restored to the best of standards. We have thousands of dollars in receipts that will serve as valuable paperwork for the next owner, and we have a clean California Title in hand.No stories here.

P.S. There are a couple missing items you may notice on our car, such as the ash tray.We are very aware, and are actively trying to locate these items, as they aren’t available at any VW shops around (or at least the ones we’ve researched).Parts are aren’t easy to locate for this year, as I’m sure you can imagine.If we do find one within the time period this car is for sale, we will absolutely include it.If not, we will offer a marginal discount to cover the cost.Maybe someone else can have better luck locating these items!
