We are pleased to offer this recently restored 1972 Porsche 914 with a 1973 engine and side shifter transmission. The exterior is the in its original Black, the interior is Black leatherette. This 914 underwent a complete windows out repaint. Its shows very well. Rust repair was completed, this is a rust free car. All rubber weatherstripping has been replaced.
The engine and transmission were removed, new clutch and rear main seal replaced. The engine runs good with good compression, the transmission shifts smoothly and correctly. The suspension is firm, the brakes are good, all electrics operate the way they should. New tires have also been fitted. This is a very nice driver that could be used as an everyday driver. Cool little car.
The dash was removed and recovered, the seats were recovered, new carpet, door cards recovered targa top refinished. Complete interior has been restored. Its a very comfortable car that has a great feeling.
