We are pleased to offer this recently restored 1975 Porsche914 1.8 litre. This is a 2 owner California car still retaining its original Blue license plates.This Porsche was parked in the owners garage in 1998 and stored until we purchased it early last year. We have restored this Porsche to above driver level condition. The exterior color is the original white, the seats have been recovered with black leatherette.
The engine is the original 1.8 litrewith only 74k original miles. Engine # EC041057 This Porsche fires straight up, no hesitation. The engine runs smoothly with plenty of power from the 4 cylinder engine. We have serviced this engine, compression is good on all cylinders. We replaced rear main seal. The carbs are weber 34 that operate correctly. The trans shifts smoothly and correctly, the clutch is smooth and correct. The suspension is firm with Bilstien shocks on the rear. The brakes work as they should, all electrics function correctly.
The body is in excellent condition with no dents or scratches. We have inspected this Porsche all over and there are NO signs of any accidents or rust issues, this as solid a 914 as you will find. The interior is in excellent condition. New carpets, seats have been recovered, a couple of cracks in the original dash but nothing major. All weatherstripping has been replaced, also new windshield. The trunk lock has been modified to electric with a safety wire installed. Pretty cool little car, one of the best available at this time. Just jump in, crank it up and off you go. This Porsche could be used as an everyday driver, or store and drive on the occasion and watch it appreciate over time. Whatever your use for this Porsche you can't go wrong!
