1995 Porsche 911 Coupe Description:

A smart man once coined the phrase, "All good things must come to end...." So it is for me and my 1995 Porsche 911.... Affectionately known as "No Water."

I am the second owner of this very good condition, 1995 Porsche 911 993 Carrera Coupe - the last ofthe air cooledPorsches. I purchased this welldocumented, expertlymaintained, completely unmolested Porschefrom the original owner with 88,000 miles on it in 2011. It has been a great six years, but it's time for me to move on..... I will do my best to fully describe the car as accurately, and as honestly, as possible - including everything good, and everythingless thangood (not much).

Title-

Clear, Ohio Title, in my name, ready to transfer to the new owner.

As noted, the car has a branded flood title. It is my understanding from the original owner, this car was part of a bulk insurance claim that includednew Porsches, Mercedes, BMW, and Ferraris - located at Lindsay Automotive Inc., Kenner LA 70062 in 1995. This vehicle was not flooded, but unfortunately ended up with a branded title through the insurance company. If you are skeptical, I understand, I was too... As such, I paid an independent licensed inspector that was recommended by Momentum Porsche in San Antonio (where I purchased it), to thoroughly inspect the vehicle.I was assured the vehicle was notflooded.Thepre-inspection report from 2011 is available foryourreview - send me your email address, and I'll send the report inpdf format. If I can figure out how to get it on the listing via alink, I will include it.

The Porsche was a daily driver for the original owner for the first few years, getting about 10k per year put on it, up to about 60k. The 60k service was completed by theLindsey Automotivein 2001.Starting around 60k, it became a weekend only car and was driven about 2,000 miles per year - for the last 18 years.

Condition-

ThePorsche is in very good to excellent condition. It has neverhad any accidents or incidents -feel free to reviewthe Carfax.I have all maintenance records and receiptssince the car was new.It is completely mechanically unmolested and has neverrequired any substantialengine or transmission work. It has never been raced, tracked, or driven hard. It has been babied. All options, switches, gages, etc... work properly except what I noted in the "Known Defects."

Engine / Transmission-

The 3.6L engine runs 100% perfect - uses or leaks no oil - see photos for oil pressures and temps. The Tiptronic transmission shifts great, whether in automatic mode, or when using the steering wheel shift buttons. Complete service documentation since new is included - see photos.

Options-

Porsche upgraded 18" wheels - rear fenders were rolled to make room - note the repaint note on both rear fenders on the Inspector's report. The work was very well done. If you didn't know it was done, you wouldn't be able to see it.

Porsche Big Brake Kit - with red calipers and vented rotors.

Porsche Turbo Tail - this is not a turbo car, but has a genuine Porsche Turbo Tail on it - looks great.

Leather Interior - both front seats had new leather installed in 2014. It is done correctly with German leather, vented and solid, as was original - Excellent condition. Back seats are original, in good condition.

Power windows, power locks, sunroof, tiptronic 4 speed transmission.

Recent service history-

Summer 2016: New air conditioning system including compressor, evaporator, and expansion valve. Replaced inner and outer CV boots (both sides), flush brakefluid,4 wheel alignment, Replace both rear toe links in control arms,ReplaceO-ring on oil filter housing pipe.Porsche Parts only - nothing aftermarket! Two new rear tires - Bridgestone Potenza 245 35 R18 (less than 1,000 miles on them).New Battery. Total Cost$4,860. Complete service documentation since new is included - see photos.

Paint-

The paint is in very good condition for a 22 year old car with 99k miles. It has multiple small stone chips on the front nose - I've done my best to show it in the pictures. There is a stone chip about midway up on the hood - shown in a picture with a dime next to it. There is a small dent behind the drivers door on the bottom of the rear fender - also shown with a dime next to it. There is a small dent on the top of the passenger fender - shown with a finger pointing it out - this one baffles me, I don't know how or when it showed up, it is barely visible, but I saw it tonight when getting the car ready to list for sale. There is a small hairline crack and paint touch up spot on the rear turbo tail. If you are looking for perfect new paint, this car doesn't have it! Again, it is 22 years old and shows less wear than I would expect. If you want perfect, be prepared to have the nose repainted.

Interior -

The interior is almost perfect. As mentioned earlier, the front seats were redone in 2014 with the correct German Leather. They are beautiful. Both power window switches have been replaced at least once - typical Porsche issue... The Driver's seat is 8-way power, with new switches installed last year. 7 of the 8 functions work perfect, but when adjusting the angle of the Driver's seat, it blows the fuse. I suspect something went wrong when having the new leather installed, but I've never taken the time to figure it out. The passenger seat is 4-way power and works well. The car has an Alpine CD player with typical USB and audio inputs.Viper alarm system, professionally installed into the power door locks. I have both original Porsche keys and two Viper key fobs.

Known Issues or Defects -

Minor stone chips - see photos.

The power seat motor / switch issue on the driver's seat.

Right rear tireoccasionally leaks down slowly when parked for an extended period of time. It seems to lose about 1-2 lbs. per day. I've had the tire checked, the wheel checked, the valve stem replaced. We can't figure it out.

Gas struts to support front trunk lid leak down - won't support the lid.I have new ones, but haven't had timeto install them.

Interior lights activated by doorswitches sometimes don't turn off properly. Ibelieve they are on some sort of timer, but they have been known to stay on sporadically. I simply leave them inthe "off" position, so they can't stay on and run thebattery dead.

In Closing-

This is an very good condition, 22 year old sports car. It runs excellent, and is beautiful to see and drive. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. I am committed to a positive transaction and have done my best to fully describe the Porsche as accurately as possible. Inspections are definitely welcome - prior to the end of the auction, by you, your mechanic, an independent Inspector, or otherwise.
