1978 TRANS AM Y82 SPECIAL EDITION W72 /WS6This car is Absolutely beautiful!You will search for along time to find a car of this caliber. very rare car with WS6 suspensionThe car looks like it's off a dealers lot in 1977!This Special edition is very original unrestored, having been painted within a yea, new decals meticulously applied.Please see (Build sheet), it's in excellent condition and is the ultimate confirmation of a Real deal Y82 Special Edition .It retains its original W72 Engine and turbe 350 Transmission .( see partial vin stamps) Both in perfect working order.it has PYPES Sgf70 Stainless steel exhaust systemIt sounds very nic, at idle and on the roadThis car was gone through and typical wear items were replaced working with factory parts when possibl, some reproduction itemsThe AC system was serviced and works well.
The seats were re-done using Legendary Seat covers and match almost perfectly the original Lombardi cloth . The carpet and underlayment are brand newThe car smells new inside!The Dash pad is not Cracked anywhere, there are some typical wear on i, but it has not been paintedAlmost impossible!The door panels are original, very nice conditionThe Car retains all of its original glass almost never happens, that the windshield is originalThe power windows have been lubricated and work wel, new power lock actuators were installed .The car retains almost all of its original decalsThe door decals are almost never present, especially Hurst modified decal.The car retains it's original door sea, T TOP sealsThe trunk seal was replacedThe Nose is perfect, all of the body panels are perfectly Aligned, very difficult to find this aspectThe car retains is RED OXIDE underneath, again nearly always covered, never originalThis car was very well maintained, including having its suspension components replaced at a Gm dealership, the passenger rear spring has a remains of a GM tag, the rear drums are original ( paint daubs present )The John Kelsey goodyear small letter polysteels have less then 100 miles
The Engine was rebuilt at 130k miles, the oil was changed so often that it retains its original cylinder bor, never happen, the cylinders were honed and new bearing and rings, installed by a very skilled Pontiac builderThe Engine is very strong and the car preforms very well . The engine runs very cool, about 185° always.The Car doesn't squeak when driving, it's just a pleasure to drive .I will happy to provide more photos to a bidder
