This listing is for the 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am you see pictured. This is a real Y82 Special Edition with performance W-72 400 TA engine with black deluxe interior and AC that is PHS documented as can be seen in one of the photos. I have spent a lot of money on this car to make it a reliable car. I took it on the Bandit Run in 2017 and drove it over 1000 miles and had no issues. The interior, engine compartment, trunk and undercarriage have been restored. The engine and transmission have been Professionally rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago. The entire fuel system and brake system have been totally rebuilt. The entire AC system is new. All new weather stripping. Tires have less than 5000 milesand the spare is a new full size and matches the other tires. Everything in the engine compartment is new. The exhaust is new and PYPES brand. The exterior sheet metal is original and still has its original paint. The car has never been repainted. The paint is aged but original as can be seen in the pictures. All of the gold decals and pin stripping are gone but you can still see the remnantsof it. Everything works including the cold AC except the factory water temperature gauge ( I installed a after market water temp gauge as after I had the engine rebuilt I didn't trust the factory temp gauge. The factory gauge may work I just don't have it hooked up) cruise control and the clock dosent work. This is a great car to drive as is or if you like nice and shiny you could have it repainted. I would trust the car to drive anywhere.

The engineserial numberstamp reads 113870 and the vin reads 113820. The 7 in the engine stamp is over size for some reason. I don't know why that one digit is off on the engine stamp.I can tell you I believe the engine had never been removed prior to me having it rebuilt. So I call it a numbers matching engine although some may disagree.
The vin and title match and the title is clear in my name.The buyer is responsible for shipping. The car can be stored here for a reasonable amount of time while the winning bidder arranges shipping.
