1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula - is an ex race car being brought back to street duty.
VERY LOW MILES AT 85,022 ON THE BODY. CLEAN TITLE - NEVER AT AUCTION. Engine and powertrain have 115,000 miles on them and were removed from a donor 1995 Trans-Am. This is not the original engine or transmission.

Currently the vehicle runs and drives with lots of power and a very aggressive sounding exhaust. Some bugs need to be worked out in the following areas,
HVAC needs new temperature select cable and needs R134a freon to be fully operational again.Needs new front lower control arms as the rearward bushings are worn.Needs new oil pan as small holes formed. These holes have been sealed with JB weld but a new pan is in it's future.Headlights work but run on (click) for a moment when turned on and off. Needs new plastic roller plugs to correct.Front nose of the bumper cover has an area of hairline cracks in the paint plus the bottom tail of the firebird decal is peeling up as shown in photosSmall dent on right rear quarter panel as shown in photosSmall crack in front drivers fender as shown in photosCurrently has off road Borla exhaust installed - VERY aggressive sound and raw.Could use a full tune up as RPMs break up at very high revs.
Trying to do my best to describe everything as accurately as possible. Engine runs good with lots of power outside of the high RPM miss (due to tune up and optispark), transmission shifts great and often times gets 2nd gear at wide open throttle, drives very well but you can feel a little wander at highway speeds due to lower control arm bushings being worn. Does not overheat, knock or tick. The carpet is all brand new and match the charcoal (black) interior. Headliner is in good condition for the age and is not completely sagging like most although there are some spots in the corners showing their age. Factory stereo system with speakers. I usually just drive around town but since changing up to a highway gear I have been able to travel to places like Detroit which is 45 minutes one way (photos on roof were taken while at Detroit Casinos).
Best part of this vehicle outside it's very low miles and very few owners is the VERY CLEAN body! And it's just as clean underneath with solid floor pans and none of that rust that puts these cars down. This is a solid value for anyone looking for a clean blank canvas to build that special street or strip car. Make no mistake about it, this car is still very raw in the way it runs and drives. One of the cleanest northern cars you are going to find as it's spent most of its life stored as a quarter horse. Still a little bit of a project to make it either a strip or street car but still a very clean starting point.
