For the people looking for a numbers matching and low mile collectors car you should probably save yourself some time and move on because at this kind of money it's probably not going to happen.
For the folks looking for a clean and mean machine that sounds like a Nascar tearing down the street at a great price, we got just what you been looking for!
This 1994 Pontiac Firebird has a real clean body with original factory paint and the drivetrain and interior donated from a 1995 Pontiac Trans-Am, read that as the powertrain is not numbers matching. It come to us as a 1/4 horse (read that as drag car) stripped of it's interior and without the original powertrain. All of the black interior and drivetrain are from the 1995 Trans Am donor vehicle which had about 110,000 miles on it. The carpet is brand new but most everything else in the interior is out of said donor vehicle and is all matching charcoal black.

Currently the car runs and drives but does have some issues that will need attention,
Needs major tune up with cap, rotor, plugs and wires as it cuts out at times at upper end of the RPM rangeNeeds a new set of lower control arms in the frontNeeds a new oil pan as it leaks a little from the gasket/pan - used oil pan includedNeeds new rear sway bar links and bushings - currently rear sway bar not installed but is included
But outside of these almost maintenance items the vehicle runs very strong and as I have said, sounds like a NASCAR! Not even kidding. When the tune up isn't acting up it will always grab a solid 1st to 2nd burn out and the performance is everything you would expect from the LT1 V8 engine. Does not leak coolant or overheat, does not knock or tick but does leak a little oil. Exhaust sounds excellent and is not leaking. It could easily be driven onto and off of an auto transport without issue. The battery is new along with the alternator so it starts the first time, every time. While it does have an intermittent misfire at very high RPM's from time to time, this is due to the tune up and does not in anyway effect starting, idling or normal driving and again it's only occasionally that it breaks up at the higher 4-5k RPM's. The transmission shifts great with no issues. Has the factory rear axle highway gear and we have the 150 MPH speedo installed from the donor vehicle. This car also comes with it's original 110 MPH speedo showing the original 85,022 miles. The engine harness and PCM is also the newer 1995 from the donor, along with the newer style vented distributor which is much less problematic than the earlier non-vented units.
The stereo is factory, save for a custom 12 inch dual woofer enclosure built especially for this vehicle (purchased on eBay). The box includes two rough Sony Xplods and could be hooked up with nothing more than a PL2 connector and a decent amp (not included). The interior is very clean but no longer has the passengers side airbag installed for weight savings. Headliner is sagging a little in the corners but looks better than most that I have seen. The headlights work but will need new bushings as they run on for a moment (read that as clicking) when opened or closed for a few seconds, but they work and hold both up and down. The body is VERY TIGHT for a midwest car and very solid! The wheel wells are all solid as is the unibody and floor pans. It's a hard top so it does not leak in the rain and is much stronger and better fitted for racing and performance driving. Has the Trans-Am spoiler and blacked out tail lights.
Overall this is a great deal for someone looking for a hot-rod as a driver, something to enjoy - improve upon and have a whole lot of fun driving. If you look at all the aftermarket parts that are already installed on this vehicle, and all the new parts it's clear it's basically like you're getting the car for free if you had to buy all this stuff and pay to have it installed! Most of the remaining work can be done by anyone with a little mechanical skill and a garage. All of the heavy lifting has been done and the best part is that it runs and drives like a raped ape already! Many years of collecting and working has gone into this vehicle, the last two photos show how the car come to me - missing its drivetrain and interior as it was strictly a race car prior to my purchasing it and that explains the ultra low miles on the body. Engine and drivetrain have around 110k miles.
I have done my best to describe the vehicle best I can however due to the nature of performance cars and the age of this vehicle (now considered a classic and qualifies for historical plates in Michigan) it is being sold as-is with no warranty and all sales are final. You are welcome to inspect the vehicle prior to purchase and for the money most will agree it's a whole lot of fun driving this type of car for very little money! For out of state buyers I can help loading the vehicle on an auto-transport or your trailer should you pick it up yourself. I've driven the vehicle to the city many times without issue both rain and shine in the summer. Vehicle is not driven in the snow but is kept outdoors in a private parking lot. Starts up the first time every time without issue even in 10 F freezing weather.
