1988 Firebird Formula

1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula with Performance Suspension Description:

Up for sale is a 1988 Firebird Formula with 144k original miles, with what appears to be a newer crate 305 and a rebuilt 700R4. It also has a good radiator and is an electric fan car, not a clutch fan. The car has a clean Montana title. The car came with AC, but that and the smog pump have been removed. All of the original equipment, however goes with the car.
We are continuing to go through the entire car and the following are what we've replaced to this point.
We put new calipers on the fronts, new fuel pump, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, flushed the radiator, new spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, new AC delete bracket and pulley along with a new continental belt, high performance 180 degree thermostat, along with pulling the valve covers to assess that it was, in fact, a newer motor. Runs good, and am in the process of cleaning it up and making it a great driver.
This was bought as a barn find and meant to be kept, but plans change and testing the water to let it go.
Very nice start to either a good driver, a restoration or a future race car.
