1973 Plymouth Gold Duster.
An absolutely beautiful car in rare condition. I am the second owner of this car, which was given to me by my grandfather before he passed. He was the original owner of the car and purchased it here in the same city/state - the original bill or sale will be included with the vehicle.
This car is as original as you will find for a vehicle like this. Everything is either original or restored to original. The interior is in absolutely beautiful condition. The seats were kept covered almost their entire life. The carpet is still in great condition. The only items replaced are the front seat belts, which were upgraded to retracting shoulder belts (from the original lap belts) and the driver side door panel. The car was repainted on Aug. 30th, 1990 by the same dealership it was purchased from (receipt included). It was repainted to the same color and trim as original. The vinyl top was also replaced. The paint is still in overall great condition. There are a few nicks and spots here and there, as well as a slight patina fading, but it is very mild and can only be seen from certain angles.
Overall the car runs and drives great. It is smooth and easy to drive. It has great power and stops well. The only known issues are that the wiper arm has come off the motor so the wiper blades do not currently move. The motor turns on (both speeds) and the arm moves. Also, the fuel gauge seems to have stuck or stopped reading correctly. This is a new issue that I noticed a few days ago when I put more gas in the tank.
This is a 50 year old car and is in great shape for its age - it gets comments and turns heads every time I take it out for a drive. However, it is being sold AS IS and no warranty for the obvious reason of its age. I have all of the receipts for service and sale, which will be included with the purchase.
Mileage: the odometer only displays 5 places beyond the 10ths. I do not know the mileage beyond that. However, I can say that this car was not driven long distances so the original miles would be very low for its age. This was just used in town.
