1940 Plymouth Business Coupe.
This car has been through a frame off, rotisserie restoration . Only driven 200 miles since. It has the original flat-head six engine with a 3 on the tree manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt during the restoration. It starts easily, and runs cool and smooth. It is nice & tidy under the hood. It has a base coat/clear coat, with 4 coats of clear that has been cut and buffed to show quality. It has 5 new Firestone WWW tires, 6.00 x 16. The glass is nice with no cracks or chips or separation. The windows roll up & down nicely. It has new running boards and nice stainless trim. It has an excellent grill and freshly re-plated bumpers. It has a new wiring harness throughout. All lights and gauges work. The speedo changes colors with the speed of the car which is a very cool feature. It has a nice Fulton visor along with a nice wood grain dash. Has an excellent shape original steering wheel! It has dual trumpet horns. The interior is all redone in period correct fabric. A very unique feature of this car is the fold-away back seat.(see pics) It has a new exhaust system front to back. It has been all repainted underneath the car. Frame is painted and in excellent shape. This car starts easily, runs great up & down the road with no rattles or shakes - nice and tight.
