1971 Plymouth Barracuda Description:

Up for sale is a recent purchase that I need to put back up for resale. Bought the car hoping to use it for a resto project for another Cuda but found that not only do I not need it, it is way to nice to part out. This car began its life in Washington state with the original owner still living today. He began to convert it for his wife to a Hemi clone but never finished, The car was sold to another and then to another then finally to me. Car runs Great! Starts right up and idles quietly. Transmission is beginning to slip so it will need attention soon. Drives so smooth. Air system blows but unsure if it is mostly the fan or the air so we have to assume the system needs work. Excellent body condition, this car has truly minimal rust. Some small dents and body paint defects this car appears to have an original 1971 grill. Externally behind the rear wheels has some bubbling and the truck pan needs to be replaced at some point, but the underside frame as well as wheel wells show this car probably saw very little rain or weather. Vinyl top needs some finishing/repair and trim put back on but looks fairly new. All numbers match this car as well as this is a true 1971 matching frame so no patch together 1970 body clone to a 1971. I have included the fender tag so you can check the original options for yourself since this car had begun a conversion at some point to a Hemi clone. An original Air car, this car is very clean and ready to drive or finish out inexpensively body wise for your 1971 Hemi clone project or just enjoy as it is. A picture of parts for the car that were removed but came with are included. I find it to be missing very little overall.
