1971 Oldsmobile 442, 455 FIELD FIND PROJECT

1971 Oldsmobile 442 Description:

Field find 1971 Oldsmobile 442 PROJECT. This car needs a lot of love, but is VERY complete. Real 442 with 344 VIN. I believe it has a service replacement (I can't read a VIN stamp on the pad), but correct '71 455 engine, with 396021 F casting number 455 block and "G" heads, VIN matching "OG" code TH400 trans. Engine turns over by hand, but I have not tried to get it running. Body is rough, but salvageable, floors need patching/replacement, will need a frame replacement or repair. Glass, and stainless trim is all there and in good shape, interior is very complete, I have center caps and trim rings for the wheels, new tires, rare find, was restored in the 80s and has been sitting since the 90's. Clean Wisconsin title. This car is too complete and rare not to save!!!
