1969 Oldsmobile Toronado Description:

Getting asked lots of questions about the color, it's not a Pink in your face color, it's is suble a super classy looking. More of a silver the top and pin stripping is the touch. But top is still darker color.
Just had International Women's month read below and see how this car relates.
This is a 1969 Oldsmobile Tornado painted Flamingo Silver with burgundy vinyl and burgundy pinstripes that was originally owned by a Mary Kay Distributor. Not the normal Cadillac, but believed to be a special order for the dealer owner. 74,805 miles. Clean oil
Garaged for 37 years, one a repaint many years ago.
In 1967, Mary Kay Ash ordered a pink Cadillac from a Dallas dealership and asked to have it painted to match the pale pink Mary Kay lip and eye palette she had. The pink-mobile was a huge hit, and in 1969, she rewarded the top five independent sales force members with the use of their own pink 1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and launched Mary Kay Career Car Program.
This car runs great, been sitting so needs someone to love it. I just replaced the passanger CV axle and after putting back together realized in needs the wheel bearings on both sides. That's where a vibration is coming from, you can tell by the tires a bit when checking. Haven't had time to get her back in the main shop for the work again. She could use a good cleaning inside just had a dusty smell from something in the truck. Some prior rust was repaired on one of the rear drain rear quarters before the repaint. Transmission is strong going down the road, small hitch when you put it in reverse. Couple of driver seat interior tears but they are all on the seem and just need sewing up. Headlights don't open to the vacuum at the moment. I believe lots just needs to wake up on her. Tiny exhuast leak from a manifold gasket. Needs a new trunk seal and when truck goes up you can here some light debre running in the trunk. There was a bunch of parts that were in the trunk of the car it's not pitched but they will come with if you want. I also have the original CV axle for repair rebuild if wanted.
