Beautiful blue, 1972 442 convertible. Garage kept and in pristine condition both inside and out. The body is ALL original, no replacement parts. The paint is basically flawless. No rust, scratches, dings or dents. The interior and glass are both original and in really good shape. There is a very small tear in the rear bucket seat. I have attempted to show this in the detail pictures. The motor and drive train are also original. White convertible top, pump and cylinders were all replaced in 2015. The weather-stripping around the convertible top still needs replacing.
I restored the entire suspension system in 2010. Shocks, springs, ball joints, control arms...etc. Also powder coated the entire front suspension components and performed a 4-wheel alignment at the same time. I have detailed pictures of the suspension restoration if you would like to see them, please e-mail me. The car already had new paint (one re-paint only), bumpers, fuel tank, exhaust, front grill and tires when I purchased it in 2006. Over the years, I have replaced the throttle cable, carburetor, transmission cable, both front and rear transmission seals, water pump, thermostat, battery, fuel pump & filter and starter.
This car runs smooth, strong and is simply wonderful to drive. The carburetor I put on is a Holly, the rear lower control arms are Hotchkiss. I absolutely love this car. The only reason for selling is due to lack of space and simply not enough time to drive and enjoy it as I should. I have attempted to show any and all imperfections in my photos, if you need any additional pictures or are in question about anything, please ask! Serious inquiry's only please. Car is sold AS IS - no warranties are expressed or implied.
I will work with a serious buyer to arrange transport if needed. Any cost associated with transporting vehicle will be the responsibility of the buyer.
