1965 MGB
1965 MG MGB Description:
This is a rare 1965 "pull handle" MGB. Manufactured in February 1965, 2 months before pull handle MGB production was discontinued. It features the 5 main bearing engine and Overdrive. This combination makes it one of the most desirable and collectible MGB's. This MGB underwent a complete, rotisserie restoration completed in 2012. Since then, the car has been driven very little, garaged and under a car cover at all times when not on the backroads. Since the restoration it has been completely sorted. The restoration included a beautiful application of Tartan Red paint with a black leather interior, 60 spoke chrome wire wheels and luggage rack. It now looks better than it did coming off the assembly line. The car was changed to Negative ground and features electronic ignition. The engine, transmission and clutch were also overhauled.
A buyer can purchase this car in complete confidence. It is backed by extensive documentation of the restoration, including all invoices and 80 photos of the step by step restoration. This is a rare opportunity to own a rare and very desirable MGB. Personal circumstances now force the sale of this classic.
