1992 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbodiesel with 152380 miles. The car has been in dry storage in Salisbury NC for several years. This model year has become extremely Rare.$2000 spent on Mechanical inspection and Major service last week: New Turbocharger installed, transmission service: fluid and filter replaced, new engine oil/filter and new injector gaskets.The Benz runs great and looks great...Please keep in mindit's not a new car but with proper care it should run forever.
Exterior looks nice and shiny with exception of superficial tiny clear coat cracks on top of the sunroof: Visible only at very close range and a hairline crack of the passenger side of the front windshield (courtesy of gravel transporting truck). Trunk lid emblems we're removed by previous owner.Original radio needs activation code. I have included aftermarket radio..and CD changer has already been installed in the trunk.
The Benz is positively 100% rust free. Interior in excellent overall condition: Very Clean - Never smoked in. There's small 2" passenger seat separation directly on the seam and oval 2" rub off area on driver seat back rest from getting in and out. Good tires, Brakes, Suspension and Exhaust System.Full size spare, Jack and Lug Wrench
The car drives very well. It does not burn oil. No leaks or drips of any kind. Transmission shifts good. All instrument cluster gauges work properly(no service lights on) as well as Power seats, windows, telescopic/tilt steering wheel. Sunroof is closed shut and does not operate.Cruise control works intermittently. Central locking system does not work. The vehicle locks the old fashioned way. You can get it fixed..or live with it:)Ice-Cold Dual Front and Rear AC - excellent heat.You'll be getting solid, safe and reliable car with minor quirks mentioned above.
