1985 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series Description:

This 1985 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL is a Florida car transplanted to Wisconsin, where it has been held in indoor storage for the past couple of years. It is a solid, smooth-running vehicle that's exceptionally clean, powerful and fun to drive. Entire interior is new, due to previous owner wanting to update to 1986-style seating. Burled walnut trim is perfect and leather is pristine and free from wear. Includes original owner's manual.
Entire exterior is in excellent condition with the exception of the driver's side front wheel, which shows flaking and corrosion. HOWEVER, a used replacement wheel is included with this car. It's not perfect, but a notable improvement over the current wheel.
The previous owner reported making many updates, including new timing chain, left and right upper chain guides and chain tensioner. The front and rear shocks were replaced, as were the headlight and tail light assemblies. All gaugues were refaced and re-calibrated. Engine mounts were replaced. Suspension (upper control arms, lower ball joints, drag link, inner/outer tie rods and sleeves) was re-done. Replaced original 14" wheels with 15" wheels. Has brand new Michelin tires and new battery.
