It runs and drives very well, and has been very well maintained. We recently took it to Portland, Oregon. It has a fresh full synthetic oil change that was completed before the trip. We only use the best quality oil and filter, in this case, the 15k mile Mobile 1 5w-30 Full Synthetic with the matching 15k filter. We still change it every 3k miles.

Minor Issues:
As with most Miatas, it does occasionally have a lifter tick upon cold start, which goes away shortly after warming up. Sometimes, if you turn it off, then back on about two minutes after startup, it will go away. This is not a big deal and is common for these engines. I like to let the engine warm up before driving it when possible.
The top is due for replacement, it has a few small tears in it, the rear vinyl window needs to be replaced. When I opened the top this spring, it was about 40 degrees (I'm a hard core convertible enthusiast) :) and the vinyl window cracked. I have taped it temporarily to keep it from leaking. With the top down, it's not noticeable. An upholstery shop may be able to repair just the window if you are able to store it in a garage most of the time.
It currently has black steel wheels with all season tires on them with about a season left. It may be possible to put hub caps on these wheels, but we do have a friend that has a set for around $100 if you would like something more stylish. Think of this as an opportunity to choose your own wheel and tire combo to suit your taste.
If you'd like a turn key package, we have a set of Miata wheels with high performance RS-3 summer tires we'd include for $500 extra installed.
It does have a few door dings and minor scratches as you'd expect for its age and being a daily driver in the summer.
Minor oil leak in the front.
