1983 Mazda RX-7 12A Rotary Engine 49K Original Miles "S" Model A/C Limited Slip

1983 Mazda RX-7 S Description:

You are bidding on a low mileage 1983 Mazda RX-7 with the rare 12A factory Rotary Engine mated to the 5 speed Manual Transmission and a limited slip rear end! The 48,849 miles is an accurate original number! This car has been in the family since 1985. Bought from the first owner in Ohio. The body has some minor surface rust through the paint throughout and a few dents and dings here and there from a tree branch falling on it. Hood only has one very small dent near the center about the size of a half-dollar. otherwise the hood is straight. Has a few minor leaks in heavy rains from where the seals are a little old and brittle. Couple small rust holds in the floor board on drivers side and one small one in unibody rail just big enough to slip your finger through. Very easy patches. The door on passenger side has rather large hole and large dent in the bottom and would not be probably be worth the effort but drivers door is pretty decent. all glass is good and intact, tail light housings also in tact. Headlights were upgraded to quality after market 100W bulbs. Stay tuned because in the coming couple days, i am going to verify manufacture of those and double check to make sure both motors for the lights work. Wheels are a little weather worn but would be a pretty clean up. Tires hold air enough to roll on to trailer safely but will definitely need replaced. I will also include some random spare parts for the car including some weather strips, exhaust shroud, fan, couple belts, etc. The engine, tranny and rear end all have low miles and would make for an awesome little track car build! If you were to add up the costs of parts if this was parted out, you'd be over $2,500!! More pics available upon request, many of the interior.
