Driveline. This truck retains its original 2.25L four-cylinder inline diesel. Mated to a five-speed transmission and high-low transfer case, it helps move the truck damn-near anywhere on the planet Our time behind the wheel reveals a transmission easily engaged and drama free, and an eager motor with bountiful torque on tap.

Exterior. Restored. The frame is in superb condition along with door bottoms and thresholds. The roof has bee refurbished and is is great condition. New wing panels and Defender front light panels. New bumper.

Interior. Clean and original and newly painted inside and out. Rear cargo area seating, new carpet, sound dampening and seats.

Reason for Selling: Having driven Land Rovers in Africa and Europe in addition to importing the traditional English Defenders to the U.S. I have come to really enjoy the Santana version. Parts a 99% Land Rover (despite what you may hear) and are readily available. The native left hand drive is awesome and the Santana dash is an improvement over a traditional Land Rover 90. I have zero problems or issue with the parabolic springs.
