1984 Land Rover Defender Description:

This 1984 Land Rover 110 special vehicle station wagon was purchased by myself from a private collector who was the second owner. It was previously her majesty the Queen issued Land Rover undergone factory changes when built making it different from standard 110s for special services. This has undergone full refurbishments to the engine and bodywork within the last 100 miles. which includes a full refurbishment to the inside andinterior upgrades. Power is provided by a 3.5-liter V8 mated to a upgraded five-speed manual LT77 gearbox. This 110 comes with various refurbishment receipts. import documents, VIN clearance documents, matching VIN, Chassis, and engine numbers and a clean Florida title in hand for the buyer.

HISTORY

This " special vehicle " hardy Land Rover was built in 1984 for the intention for UK government services as part of only a limited number built with lots of factory extras and changes that did not appear on other standard built 110s. full specs are below.

It was purchased by its first owner with 26000 miles on the dashboard and a service record to prove milage. it was used in London Chelsea and the previous owners estate not far from the london area. It was dry stored in a 30 car collection and never used as a off road vehicle. I recently purchased it and imported it to Florida with 44000 miles. This Land Rover is now fully registered with a clean Title. It also holds a previous clean UK title.

SPECIAL VEHICLES

This Land Rover V8 comes with many factory extras setting it aside from standard 110s of its time. Uprated suspension resulting in the over all vehicle sitting a lot higher than normal and sure performs a lot better. also benefiting from upgraded headers.

checkered plating front to back was installed along with an extra battery box and battery under the drivers seat to deal with more equipment. extra storage compartments in the cargo. metal light guards cover the front and rear lights for protection. At the front there is a factory fitted winch with a manual throttle choke inside. this sits inside its original front bumper which is slightly bigger than normal.

ENGINE

The matching numbers engine is a The 3.5-liter Rover V8 mated to a upgraded five-speed manual LT77 gearbox it was serviced under 100 miles ago with all fluids replaced. and a air filter and full spark plug replacement. Also with carburetor adjustments. A new center exhaust and rear box has been installed at the same time as the service. This will come with a new battery also.

This engine has covered 47000 miles and has been checked by US DMV then issued with a clean US title. Also has a copy of the clean UK title.

ENGINE BAY

The engine bay is clean from rust and has had previous work done to the bulkhead so it is rust free. There are two fans located at the front and are fully working. working heater and upgraded Malory distributor some years ago.

There VIN is original and in tact towards the rear of the engine bay and everything is clean from dirt and no signs of engine leaks.

MOVING PARTS

the moving parts of the vehicle are all in good working order and has undergone many refurbishments including all suspension and bushings. steering components and bushings along with a good order breaking system. there are no leaks and when driven no play or unwanted moments under steering, accelerating or breaking. it has had many replacements and well looked after over its years with its previous owner and used regularly.Power steering also works fine.

INTERIOR

Inside you will find a full restoration upgrade to the main parts.

the floor has been fully treated in the last two weeks and professionally rhino lined by Line X with receipts to prove. this has no holes in the floor or rust and fully treated front front to back before the rhino lining process was finished in black. including inside the battery boxes and full cargo area. ( this has not affected the removal of the top and that can also come off to reveal an open back )

They did a amazing job and looks really good. this could be fully submerged in water and would not matter. The basic interior has been replaced with drivers and passengersbrand new fully adjustable black bucket seats and a brand new black center console with a storage compartment and two cup holders.

Along with the removal of the rear top you can also fold down the front windshield if desired with ease.

I can get new bench seating in the rear put back in if the buyer wants them and i get a decent price.

Also will come with a cd radio.

BODKWORK

The bottoms of the doors have been treated and have no rust on them. The fender flares have been rhino lined inside and out for added protection and strength. The front and rear bumpers have been then fully sand blasted and treated for rust then rhino lined. along with the metal light guards. The front fender having some small dents on the right hand side but the rest of the body work is straight and is in generally good condition. I can sort if I get the right price for it. It has its original rear top. I also have the color code and name for the paint that is also new. The roof and body work has been painted.

Original rivets can been seen under paint as it did when it left the factory and shows it has not under gone bondo repairs.

The roof is fully removable and also has its original hooks along both sides for a canvas to go on. Windscreen can also come of if desired.

WHEELS

The factory wheels are in good condition and do not leak. they are wrapped in 4 tyres that have plenty of tread.Also a spare on the rear.
