1984 Land Rover Defender Defender 90 Hardtop Description:
UPGRADED DEFENDER 90"This Defender has had its original 2.5 replaced with a newer, stronger, more reliable, and very much preferred 200TDI. It has a galvanized chassis, and is a pleasure to drive on the trails as well as on the street. We have driven this vehicle on the highways and the city, and it has it always felt solid. The vehicle shows no signs of leaks, structural issues, or previous accidents. Someone truly loved this vehicle over its life. Now you can benefit from their hard work!The door locks were swapped out so a single key can be sued for both. The driver seat bottom was replaced with a new unit from Rovers North, and the driver door panel was repaired. The fender (wing) diamond plates are new, and were riveted on like they do at the factory as opposed to screws which can come out. This vehicle has a custom through the body exhaust exit, a great front winch, and a functioning snorkel. It has obviously been well maintained, and with continued levels of care, it could last for quite a while longer.This vehicle has been mechanically inspected, with no mechanical issues found. An MOT was passed prior to UK shipment to the US, and an independent mechanic as well as a former Land Rover mechanic inspected the vehicle upon arrival in the US. All DOT, EPA, DHS, MOT, and Clear Title paperwork is present. It was titled and registered as a 1991 Land Rover Defender 90 in the UK, and the same here in the US by the State of Maryland.
