Lancia Beta Scorpion Spider - Considered one of the most beautiful Lancia cars of the 70's. It's rally tuned brother, The Lancia 037 Martini dominated the scene before the 4WD integrales took over.The price of this car is set to skyrocket. They are already selling for $30,000 in the UK.This is for the metallic blue car.(Number 245 of 1805 imported between 1976 and 1977) It is unique - since it was upgraded to the 2L Lancia Montecarlo engine - that puts out 121bhp. A chance to buy the car - pre restoration. After which it will be sold on EBay for $15k. Your choice!The 2L a longer stroke engine that uses the same head as the stock 1.8 - but has a longer cam belt and better valve clearance on the pistons.Has a lightened flywheel, newer 5 speed transmission with around 7000 miles from new. Ive just replaced the gear shift bushes with new poly linkages - so it shifts like a new car.It also has a flowed 40 carb and exhaust - so it shifts like a proper sportscar and sounds great. You can add twin 40s - or turbocharge this engine easily - like a Lancia Integrale.Climate control on this car is top notch. AC has been filled using two ports under the rear of the car. Blows cold.1 owner since 1988. Car is really fast and a lot of fun to drive!!! Like a pocket Ferrari Boxer.
Good windshield and gasket. Windows work. No major rust - just a couple of bubbles on the rear wheel arch.
All wiring works beautifully and has never been kludged!!!
