Lancia Beta Scorpion Spider - Considered one of the most beautiful Lancia cars of the 70's. It's rally tuned brother, The Lancia 037 Martini dominated the scene before the 4WD integrales took over.(I have the Lancia 037 Martini stripe kit - and an ORIGINAL fiberglass 1980 Lancia 037 rally 4 light pod available - if the winner wishes to purchase them after the auction.)Low mileage zero rust Italian classic. Recently refurbished with new tires and repainted wheels - runs beautifully!
Car has been treated with TLC! Owned since 1988.....$3000 ceramic Ansa coated header,Ansa muffler runs cool!
Ported and polished weber, Marelli electronic distributor, golden lodge 4 prong plugs, Bayless free flo chrome air cleaner, Extra wide timing belt and tensioner(about 500miles on) one piece Monte Carlo speedo cable, cylinder head surfaced and head gasket changed about 700 miles ago, brake booster jumped out with custom stainless lines and all new hoses pads and euro slotted rotors.
Euro round flat headlights, interior blemish free, beautiful red leather and red carpeting. California mirrors on the left and right. New metal/enamel Pinnanfarina badges..top is a nos original with a 1" repair, new top straps (top works,folds and stows as new!) Comes with a new spyder soft top, ready to go on.
Car is really fast and a hoot to drive!!! Like a pocket Ferrari Boxer.
Gas tank is like new inside and out (por 15 sealed inside) all rubber brake lines from master cyls to reservoirs new. Upgraded to euro rotors and calipers. Brakes have just been bled.
New windshield and gasket (hard to find), all vacuum lines and gas lines new,new shift bushings....coolant changed regularly and water wetter treated...all cooling fans work.
All wiring works beautifully and has never been kludged!!!
