Clean for this model year. This is the 1st year of the Jeep Cherokee. It has almost ever factory option offered. Dana 44 front and rear axles, QuadraTrac transfer case, unique GM TH400 (1 ton) transmission that AMC/Jeep put in their trucks at the time, as well as a 304 V8 engine. (It originally came with a 401 but was not in it when I bought it). It starts easy and drives fine. I had the intent to restore it to showroom quality but have determined I don't have the time. It has a relatively new paint job, new interior of which was also in it when I bought it. I don't really like the dash or the fact that they moved the shift to the floor but other than that it seems to be mechanically sound. They also put in a new carburetor. I put a new master cylinder on it a couple of weeks ago. I also have purchased an overdrive for the transfer case that I never installed which is included.

All in all it is a good Jeep, just needs someone to take the time and finish it up.
