1979 Jeep Cherokee Cherokee S Description:

Selling my 1979 Jeep Cherokee (S). Runs and drives. Clear title. 4x4 works fine. New shocks. 360 v8 with turbo 400 automatic transmission. I purchased this to do a full restoration, but had hand surgery and I can't do the work right now. Parts included with Jeep are passenger side front window glass, 2- 1970's vintage replacement rear 1/4 panels, rear lift blocks and U bolts, spark plugs, carb kit. Used parts are pictured. Original roof rack, some turn signals, marker lights, emblems, extra wheel center caps, large mirrors. Interior seats are in great condition except for driver's seat. floors will need new sheet metal, prior owner did some patching w/ aluminum. Body mounts and spring shackles are in very good shape. Engine runs but carb accelerator pump gasket is leaking. Grille is from a 1973. Rear hatch window motor or switch is inop. Not sure which one. Not sure what true mileage is. Prior owner changed the dash cluster. Title says 200K even. No frame rust, rear cargo area is very good as well. Rear carpet and metal cargo strips are in the truck. Would trailer the jeep. It will drive, but w/ the floor pan holes and the leaky accelerator pump, it may not be a good idea. Local pick up or set up shipping through Uship. This is a great restoration candidate.
