| This Jeep came from southern California, where it spent its time since new by one owner. It was shipped to Florida when he retired, and I picked it up this summer. Previous owner took very good care of the Jeep and kept up with upgrades as time went on. It has a new Overdrive unit installed, new fuel tank, new starter, etc. to keep up a good driver standard. It has a bikini tip, that needs new rear straps, or you can get one for 50-60 bucks online. They do not make them in spice color anymore for these models. Only black. Has a full canvas top that the back plastic window is cracked. Typical of these type tops. It is spice as well I have the full canvas doors and good steel frames for them. Again, I have talked with every top manufacturer out there and none of them make them in spice, only black for the older models. This was the last year of Kaiser Jeep, for the next year they were purchased by AMC. The engine is a 225 Buick V6, and has petronix electronic points installed as well a higher volt coil. Water pump new, starter new, fender well headers that go into side pipes. I have a complete NEW power steering conversion kit that goes with the Jeep, that cost almost a grand with new power steering box. Only requires drilling of one hole to mount steering box, and all the other new parts come with it. The overdrive works well, and all 4wheel drive works great. It also has another roll bar added to front, just behind the windshield, and tied into original roll bar. Creates a complete roll cage for front, and all roll bars are padded, and pads are in good condition. The body has NO rust through spots, and only a two or three spots about the size of a lady bug of surface rust. Due to being in California all its life till shipped to Florida this past year. Mickey Thompson tires all around, and spare as well. Has a spare tire rack on the back that opens for access to back, and racks for carrying fuel or coolers, etc. There is a storage compartment under front passenger seat that locks, and a large storage metal box built under rear seat that will hold the canvas top, or what ever else you may want to stow away. It locks as well, and there are two speakers built into the rear storage box that are marine grade should you decide to add a radio to the jeep, also the antennas are mounted for am/fm radio and CB antenna as well The paint was dull so I just did a rattle can camo paint job, so the next person could leave it that way, or paint it whatever color you so desire. Floors are rock solid, as well all body panels. This Jeep is in great shape to get in, and go 4 wheel'n.... Vehicle is for sale locally, and advertised in various media here in Florida. Buyer is responsible for shipping. $2000.00 deposit due within 48hrs of purchase, and balance due within 72hrs after deposit. I will work with buyer for the shipper.
