390 POWER DISC BRAKE AIR CONDITIONING MARTI REPORT

1968 Ford Galaxie Description:

1968 Ford Galaxie XL fastback. 390 2V, dealer installed A/C that blows cold. 68,478 miles. Never restored, or messed with, wears most of it's original paint. Interior is all original and in very good condition. Title is clean, comes with Marti report. Stored in a climate controlled shop, and garage for many years. I have owned this car for almost 10 years, having purchased it from a well known restorer and collector of 60's full size Fords. I will forward that info to the new owner. No rust issues. Floors and trunk floor are perfect, door bottoms and deck lid are good also. Had been rust proofed when new. Engine runs very well with no noises or smoke, has great power. Trans shifts as it should and fluid is clean. No issues with leaks, it may leave a half dollar size spot after sitting for the winter. The original belts and hoses were replaced within past few years with parts purchased from Kevin Marti (I have the originals still). The radiator was removed and re-cored to a 4 row core. About 90% of the paint appears to be original, there are some areas that I believe were touched up over the years. This car has never been restored, and therefore does show some imperfections such as some minor scratches, dings, and minor wear so please view all the pictures carefully as they are part of my description. I purposefully left this car alone as I did not want to take away from it's originality. As for mentions I think are important to note; You will see there is an imperfection in the left front fender behind the wheel and below the belt line (I believe this was present as new), and some minor blisters under the vinyl top, etc. This car was sold new on July 31, 1968, and with that said it is a 55 year old used vehicle. It is being sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. It has a lot of life left in it and will be a fun cruiser for a long time to come.
