1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 convertible. I've owned this car for over 20 years, it has always been in a garage. It has had a lot of restoration done, all new front end work, including, a frames and bushings upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, new shocks and coil springs. All new brakes including wheel cylinders, brake shoes and drums have been turned. New correct power brake booster, and master cylinder. also new tires. Gas tank was reconditioned with new sending unit installed. The engine and transmission were also rebuilt. This car is correct, date code 1964 engine X block casting # 3844422, head casting # 3830817, code QG -- (409 ci V-8 4 bbl 340 hp, powerglide automatic) non matching number. The top was also replaced, and works good and in very good condition. The seats look to be original to the car, in good condition. Door panels have been redone, and new carpet has been installed. The paint is not perfect, car, over all is in very good condition, with a few minor flaws. It is encouraged that buyers inspect this car before bidding.
