1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description:

1955 Chevrolet 210 Two-Door Post Pro Touring Car

This 1955 Chevy 210 two-door has a tight stance, and was built for driving as show quality car to be enjoyed at every level.

tidy and compact, Weiand supercharged small-block that sits comfortably under the hood line, the highly-finished

motor is topped with a single Holly 950cfm "Blower" carburetor and an Edelbrock performance air cleaner. Horsepower is

thought to be 300-400!

It runs a Hurst-equipped Muncie four-speed with a scatter-proof bell housing, custom driveshaft with a Currie Ford 9-inch.

It also features full custom front suspension and steering, making it one of the most assured driving '55 Chevy's around.

The Small-Block engine was built by Oval Chassis Research, a builder of sprint cars motors and uses proven internal hardware

for the blown street motor including JE Blower pistons, Eagle crank, ARP hardware and a Elgin custom cam designed for street

use with .570" intake and .590' exhaust lift. The car runs cool and has never overheated in traffic.

The front suspension features a full power steering update with sports suspension additions to the front end and a new Borgeson

Delphi 600 Series power steering box featuring an 18mm double D input shaft with a quick 12.7:1 ratio. Additionally, an IDIDIT

steering column directing you in the traffic!

Power brakes also add safety with discs up front and Currie drums on the rear. The rear Currie 9-inch axle is set up with leaf springs,

coil/over shocks, load levelers and ladder bars. On the freeway it's a pleasure to drive as it tracks perfectly in the lane, making it a

relaxing car to drive.

Underneath, it also features all Williams gear including a driveshaft loop, Shock X member and engine mount kit.

The car was built from a 10-point concourse-quality donor-car so everything was built on solid metal and is in fine condition.

The mini tubs in the rear float over the massive Hoosier 29X12/50R-15 tires. These tubs are so well crafted that the fender tubs in

the trunk looks stock apart from the fuel cell. The paint is a superb classic flame job with fine inside edge detailing.

The interior uses stock seating front and rear, and the rear seats are not compromised by the mini-tubs. The covers are all trimmed

in a two-tone Naugahyde-type material. Four-inch lap belts hold you in place.

The car was built and parts supplied by several of the finest hot rod shops in California, including Brizio, Cotati Speed Shop, Danchuk,

Oval Chassis Research and American Classic and Performance. A build book of parts and suppliers comes with the car.

The car does not have a speedo or fuel gauge. Both could be easily installed by a new owner.

Mileage is thought to be less than 5,000 miles, since it was built.

Car comes wit large folio of receipts for parts and work performed, and the original glove box handbook.

Interestingly, this car has never appeared in any magazine as the owner wished to stay out of the limelight.

As you can see from the photos, it's truly a magazine quality '55 which will make any new owner proud to go cruising or showing.

Car has clear California title.
