1956 Bel Air
1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description:
1956 Bel Air 2 door post rolling project. This is a straight rust free vehicle. The floor has had rust repair done and has a stamped patch panel on the passenger front floor needing finish welded. The chassis is coated in POR15 and is nicely outfitted with a coil over four link rear suspension with a 12 bolt. The front has tubular a-arms and coil overs as well. Power rack and pinion steering. Also has four wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The rear wheel tubs have been widened by 2 inches and easily fits the 12 inch wide tires with room to spare. The rear wheel lip is not rolled. The frame is not narrowed. It has a 383/350 combo that is not running. I also have a three piece fiberglass frontend as well as the steel. The original chrome and trim is there needing restored. Has an IDIDIT steering column not installed. No glass or interior except I do have the original rear bench and two 65 Impala front buckets. Car is an original Bel Air 6 cylinder powerglide car. Crocus Yellow and Laural Green are the original colors. Family owned since the mid 80s. Also to go with the vehicle is a running and driving 2000 Silverado with a 5.3 LS that would make a great donor for a drivetrain swap for the 56. If the buyer has interest there is also a body rotisserie and engine hoist available.
