1980 BMW R65 Airhead for sale. Starts, runs and stops well. Great bike in good shape for the year.
Pros:
-Starts right up and runs well. Pretty fast bike!
-Reliable airhead engine hasn't let me down yet.
-Clean title
-Carbs have been cleaned thoroughly and have many new parts (jets, o-rings, gaskets, float pins)
-New throttle cables
-Freshly timed, points have been cleaned and properly adjusted.
-Tires are in good shape
-Comes with luggage rack and panniers
-Clean tank
Cons:
-Small tank scratches, minor rust spots around bike. Typical for the age of the bike (pictured).
-Developed a small noise when going over big bumps in the rear. Looks like rear shocks could use some new bushings before next season. Totally rideable at this point.
Worth Noting:-I do have the second sidecover, just waiting on new rubber grommets to come in that secure it.-The left front blinker has been properly fastened.
