1980 BMW 5-Series aluminum Description:
For sale is an excellent example of the very first 5-series. It just had complete engine maintenance, with all new gaskets, hoses, rods etc; The complete list of work is available if you wish to see. Also, brand new genuine BMW brake master cylinder, Bosch Battery, and bulbs for the turn signals as well as dashboard (these are often burned out and difficult to replace). It is a good ride, shifts well and the engine is sound. The previous owner had a new paint job put on it. No rips or tears in leather seats. Front two doors wood plus the shift knob have been refinished; the back two are in fair condition.Carhas some very small superficial rust spots, but after 40 years its in very nice shape. Sitting on 14' BBS originals. Includes complete original owners manual, papers, and toolkit with no rust. Has been sitting in the garage since I owned it, and the previous owner the same. Thecarof course is not perfect, AC is going, radio electronics sometimes work, sunroof needs new parts. Regardless, it is still a very nice example of the E12. Thanks for looking.
