1967 Austin Healey 3000 MK III Description:

Produced from 1959 to 1967, the 3000 was a larger sports car produced by Austin-Healey. The bodywork was crafted in the Jensen Motors factory and the rest of the car was assembled at the BMC factory alongside MGs. The final Mark III variation was announced in 1964 and featured a uprated engine courtesy of a high lift camshaft and dual SU HD8 carburetors. The engine now produced 150hp and power assisted brakes were now standard, as was the upgraded dashboard. Production ended in 1967 with 17,712 Mark III's having been produced.

The body of the car is very straight and solid and all of the trim shows well and is intact. The paint is in good condition with nice gloss with some small imperfections here and there. In true Austin-Healey fashion the chrome trim is vibrant and plentiful, and holds a shine quite well. The interior of the car shows some age but is in good condition nonetheless. The Convertible top is newer and in great condition. The classic knock-off wheels are in great condition and wrapped in good tires. This car runs and drives beautifully and really personifies what the British sports car era was all about. With the larger 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine and the 4-speed manual transmission this Healey has an enjoyable power band and is a blast to drive. A blip of the throttle is all it takes to hear what sets it apart of from it's contemporaries.
