1972 Alfa Romeo GTV Description:

1972 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000. This vehicle bears chassis #1 (AR*3020001) in driver door entry, A-pillar, and engine compartment. This corresponds to the first vehicle manufactured for North American import.
2.0 liter 5-speed manual transmission with overall condition as good. Extensive restoration performed in 2013-14 to the tune of ~$25,000, with 24 pages of documentation detailing restoration (these can be seen through the link below). New paint at that time now shows some checkering. Upgraded springs and shocks, new suspension bushings throughout and 4-piston Wilwood front brakes. New aftermarket radiator and electric fan. Cylinder compression 170-185 psi in 2014. Excellent door fitment. New wheels and tires in 2019 (Alfaholics GTA 7 x 15 Superleggera). Steering is tight and a Nardi steering wheel has been installed. Upholstery appears original with stretching and discoloration however no tears. Transmission cycles through gears very easily with no grinding or slipping. Car starts quickly and easily, runs terrific with no smoke. Current owner has placed ~1500 miles in just under 3 years.
