1978 Volvo 262 Description:
This is a 1978 Volvo 262c Bertone. This car contains a perfect original engine of the (PRV) V6 B280. It was recently Fully Repainted under the original Volvo 262cpaint code and color. I spent $6,500 for a Full Original Repaint. Before being fully repainted this car was in good condition, I just wanted to make it shiny judging on its age. This Volvo has absolutely NO RUST. This car was Never in any accidents and No bodywork was done to it. It has a brand new Volvo A/C Compressor. Cold A/C. Original Glass.The Interior is all original it has never being tempered with, the passenger seat has a rip and the driver seat has stretch marks. When I had the car repainted, I wanted to refurbish the interior as well, but I had an auto interior specialist inspect it and he said it is impossible to match this old bertone leather material and he offered me to reupholster the interior in a custom way. So I decided because of the rarity and originality of this classic Volvo bertone to leave it as original as possible.I have many classic Volvo Bertones. The only reason I am selling this Classic Volvo is because I need to reestablish funding in order to pursue investing in my other vehicles in my collection.
