1989 Volvo 240 Description:

I have owned this car for 3 years. I have 3 antique cars. Unfortunately, 2 have to go and this Volvo is one of them. A very nice antique Volvo in very good condition. For the first 2 years or so it has been a daily driver. For the past 8 months, I haven't been driving it much and put Historic license plates on it. The car has been serviced by Denis’ Volvo in Springfield, MO. The previous owner, who owns a body shop in Kansas City, did several modifications to the car, including a custom paint job, among other things, which is detailed below.

The car was in a fender bender in the summer of 2015. Broke the passenger side headlight and some minor damage around the grill. I drove the car back to its previous owner in Kansas City (who owns the body shop) and he repaired it back to the original. I have the detailed invoice if interested.

It has its share of scratches and blemishes, but not many. There are 2 small areas of rust (about the size of a quarter), one 5” from the right lower corner of the front window, and the other on the bottom of the rear passenger door frame. There also is 2 small nicks on the windshield, neither in the direct line of vision. Ebay only allows 24 images so I did not include any of the above, but would be happy to send those to you if interested.

The rear back-up lights are non-functional and have been that way since I’ve owned the car. I asked the previous owner about this and he told me he never wired the car for it.
