Mechanically EXTREMELY sound and reliable!!Can be daily driven.Will run 65-70 mph and beyond when needed but generally 55-60 is where we stay.Outstanding fuel economy as well for a fully loaded camping vehicle.Weaverage 20mpg.

NO SMOKE or mechanical issues!
Recent 2023 new parts include:
*New water pump and coolant system flush.*New 90 amp. alternator, belts, battery and tune up.*New high torque starter (HUGE IMPROVEMENT).*New coil*New fuel pump and filter.*New front and rear heater core.*Stainless Magnaflow exhaust system.*Brand new front and rear brakes.*Brand new tires/tubes.*Brand new power steering rack and pinion from Gowesty with polyurethane bushings. Excellent upgrade!!!*Brand new (frontto back) power steering line conversion to hydraulic hose kit from The Bus Depot. Excellent upgrade!!!*Fresh oil change using 5W40 Mobil 1 full synthetic.
Some days, BONE DRY under this bus. Not 1 oil drip.Other days, a few oil drips here or there at the very rear (not uncommon but noteworthy).
All lights inside and out work! Dash lights, hi/lo headlights, brake, turn, back up and so on.Tach, speedometer, wipers, fuel and temp gauges work.
Blower controls all work properly for all vents and blower speeds.
Everything worksin and on this busBESIDES the cruise control and A/C. All A/C parts are all there just no belt hooked up. Would need recharged I'm sure.Sink, stove, fridge and so on are functional.Water storage tank is all in tact. The large, original LP tank was removed (included and worked fine). We preferred using the small Coleman camp canisters for the stove.
This bus was converted to the single round headlights for aesthetics reasons only. Giving a more traditional VW look.No cracks in the original dash!Front seats are original and excellent!
This is an original paint vehicle. There are a few minor bumps, dings, chips and minor exterior rust spots that have been touched up over the years.
These areas will be shown in great detail in the 20min. video at the top.The under side of this vehicle is impressively SOLID with zero cancer!
Sold new in Ohio and came to Indiana in 2008 I believe.We have personally known the last 2 owners.
Bus comes with a fitted, high quality cover as well as a brand new canvas top with side zip-out windowsfrom the Bus Depot! Just never had the heart to replace the original.
I find no joy in listing this wonderful bus for my sister-in-law but she is moving on to other priorities (building a tiny house) so here it is. She has invested A LOT into this vehicle both financially and passionately. Even while typing this she is having second thoughts.
It's time for the next owner to begin their adventure and make years of memories.
