1983 Volkswagen Rabbit GTi Description:

This is a very nice, low miles, unmolested, original 1983 GTI. Other than a tiny bit of light surface rust, the car is completely rust free! It would be a great daily driver. All the lights work. climate control works. Every gauge besides the tach works. But the odometer seems to work half the time.The engine is strong and the transmission shifts perfectly. The clutch works great without any slipping. I recently went through a the brakes and replaced the master cylinder. I also just gave it a tune up. There are no leaks and everything seems to be working as it should. I also have found a supplier of the OEM seat upholstery for this car. I will include the sample and information with the car as well as some extra parts I have. It has a rebuilt title because it was stolen in CA in 1988 and retitled. There was never any damage to the car. The car drives great but if you are planning on driving it a long distance I would switch out the front tires as they are a bit dry rotted.
