1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Description:

VW rabbit pickup with the 1.6 TD swap. I purchased a low mileage TD engine and had it completely machined professionally. A engine rebuild kit from parts place, all major components were replaced with German OEM parts. The TD injection pump was sent off to bosch and was completely rebuilt. The new engine and components were professionally installed by a local vw shop. At the same time, I had them install a new clutch and vacuum pump and go through the entire braking system. The bed has been lined with a high end bed liner and new decals have been applied to the tailgate. In the process of having the engine installed, I bought a 1986 1.6 td Jetta Wolfsburg edition with manual transmission. I swapped over the snowflake rims along with some of the interior from the jetta. The original truck rims and new snowflakes have less than 500 miles on the tires. I started painting the truck with Plastidip and over 3/4 of the truck has received a coat, everything except for the front end. I still have several cans of it left along with the sealer. Included in the sale sale is countless OEM parts still in the box that i havent gotten around to installing, including a brand new fuel tank. I still have quite a few parts from the original 1.6 NA including the injection pump. Truck runs and drives great. You get the rabbit pickup, jetta and thousands in new and used parts. Ive got that in the engine and swap alone. I have receipts for all parts and work performed. Clear title in hand.
