1957 VW Beetle
1957 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description:
1957 ...last year for the small oval rear window. Every piece on this car has been restored, replaced or upgraded. New engine block, heads, carburetors. Car is lowered in the front for looks but can easily be adjusted higher if wanted. Brake lining, wheel cylinders, and hoses have all been replaced. Car has been stripped of all undercoating underneath and painted black. Nothing is hidden or covered up. It’s won it’s share of car shows. It would be tough to find a nicer body or one in better mechanical shape. Many billet aluminum parts. Custom bumpers, running boards. The rear seat has been replaced with a package shelf to save weight. A rear seat can be installed if you wish. Engine is big bore and very strong. Shifter is short throw and has zero slop.. Fun to drive or show. This is a stunning Hot Rod Beetle. Idles smooth and drives and stops great! 1904 cc engine with 92mm Mahle pistons. 74mm Scatt crank and rods. Engle 120 cam. Dual 45mm carbs. Excellent overall exterior condition. Excellent glass. No scratches, dents, rust, no accidents. Very solid and tight car. If you could find a perfect non rusted 57 VW, (good luck) then spent another 15 to 20K for parts and labor, and spent a few years of your life for a complete restoration.....you’d have this car. I have many receipts and pictures showing the restoration process that go with the car. If you want more information or details or pictures....just ask.
