1969 VW Type 3 fastback. Not VW bug beetle, bus or van

1969 Volkswagen Type III Description:

This is rare. Why? Because no one has ever messed with it. No alterations, no attempts "fix it up", no nothing.It just sat in the Florida sun and baked in some woman's back yard for years.The 69 Type III was the first year they offered fuel injection to the public and front disk brakes and it was the last year of the cool body style.The only thing that was replaced was the exhaust as you can see in the pics.It starts right up runs good but pops out of 4th gear.No bondo, no hiding anything. All lights work including the inside courtesy light, turn signals etc.If I were going to keep it I would pull the motor, re-torque the heads and replace the transmission.I tried sever al times to sell my truck in order to keep this for myself but only got tire kickers and low ballers so I have to let it go.
