1981 Volkswagen Rabbit LX Description:

Up for auction is my VW Rabbit LX Diesel 1.6L pickup. If original is what you want, look no further. All original interior, paint is original and even the VW emblem rims! There are no rips in the seats, on the door panels or headliner and no cracks in the dash. Mechanically it runs great and shifts smooth. There are no leaks of any kind. The truck has new tires, shock towers, and battery. Recently the alternator and belts have been replaced as well. It did not come with A/C but the heat blows hot and it also has an engine block heater. Glow plugs work great. This truck is very clean inside and out. The body has the usual rust spots on the bottom panel on both sides but nothing horrible. There is a small dent on the edge on top next to the hood and a dent on the tailgate, but it does not interfere with it opening. The bed will need either a mat or paint, it’s a little rough.The cap is in great shape and still pretty white for it’s age. I have some new headlights to be included as well as an extra clutch cable, extra air and oil filters, shift boot, jack and spare tire, front license plate holder and extra bulbs.
