Original bought new in California, one repaint exterior onl, untouched floors, doors and treasure chest, no rust or metal work ever! I have owned this VW for plus 10 years, have personal driven about 10,000 miles, 1600 cc motor works flawless can be driven across country with zero issues, transmission and brakes perfect, speedometer and all lights switches work as new, true mileage unknown (50 years old), previous owner replaced clutch and pressure plate and installed complete new brake components. Bumpers are the original never repainted. The treasure chest, compartment under the bed that holds spare wheel is also original and never been painted, has new set of original working VW locks! In my possession it has never seen rain, the paint is 12 years old and is show quality with no flaws!
