Rare and Unmolested VW Volkswagen 2.0 L 16V Passat

1992 Volkswagen Passat 16V Description:

Rare and remarkably complete example of the sought after 2.0 Liter 16V drivetrain. A few dings and dents consistent with its age, most notably on the sunroof panel (pictured) which can be more easily replaced or removed for repair. Mechanically it's clear the car has never been dogged, the drivetrain engine and suspension are unmolested and in factory original condition. I own a number of 16V conversions and bought this because the engine, fuel system, and other 16V parts alone are worth a small fortune - but alas, it's too much of solid example and therefore would be a shame to part out. It's mechanically sound with good compression, drivetrain and body; items I'd address are a weak starter/ground connection that makes it uncomfortable/slow to start, a basic tune up/adjustment and a faulty warning light on the dash. I'd like to see this go to someone that knows and appreciates this car for what it is, so please inspect the pictures, ask any questions to make sure this is what you want.
