| **. ***Not a show vehicle, but a daily driver. A completely new engine was installed a year and a half ago, and almost everything has been replaced/redone mechanically in the 10 years I've had it. FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM IS BRAND NEW, AS IS THE FUEL PUMP AND FILTER. drives, stops, and shifts as it should. Paint is about 5 years old, and looks good, but was done by students learning the trade. There are a few runs in it. The interior is in overall good condition, especially for an almost 40 year old van.If you are looking for a dependable old VW van, in very good condition, to drive and enjoy, this is a good one. We drive it everyday.If you're looking for a perfect show van, this isn't it.Mileage is unknown, as speedometer works great, but odometer hasn't worked since I've owned it. I can tell you the engine has less than 10,000 miles on it. Runs and drives excellent, and gets attention everywhere we go. The van is for sale locally as well, so auction could be ended/cancelled early if sold before auction ends.We hate to sell, but health issues require that we sell it.We have much, much more invested in this van than the opening bid amount.
